Listingbook is a free service that emails properties from the MLS (Multiple Listing Service) directly to you.  All the properties are based on your selected criteria; it allows you to search like an agent.  The information is timely and accurate and it also will inform you of changes in price and sold prices.
Currently the only other similar option is the MLS Auto Prospecting. In my opinion, Listingbook is a better alternative because it lets the clients have control. You can change your search criteria instead of needing your agent to do it. Listingbook is very interactive; it allows you to check comparables also referred to in the industry as “comps.” Comps are important is determining property value.  Another benefit of Listingbook is that you can view what else is for sale in a particular area/neighborhood. You can even see how far a prospective house is from your work, in-laws or other local attractions.
